What is No Longer A Bystander?

No Longer a Bystander is for activists who are also seeking spiritual solutions to personal and societal problems. If you are looking for sappy devotional thoughts, you are in the wrong space and need to move on. Martin Luther said, “If you want to change the world, pick up a pen and write.” I promise that every article will challenge conventional thinking and provide a knowledge base that will make you rethink the world around you—and if applied, will change ideas and behavior. The subjects will be around the intersection of religion and culture and how it is reflected in religious bodies, contemporary culture which, by default, includes political leadership.

Who is Bill Hull?

Bill Hull is the author of over thirty books published in the last thirty-eight years. The books have primarily been about Jesus as the quintessential disciple maker. The books have sold more than 500,000 copies ranging in subject matter from the problems of anxiety, the challenges of leadership, how religious communities can improve, along with some very average novels. Bill’s books have won awards, too many to mention here, but you’ve never heard of any of these awards anyway. Bill spent over twenty years as pastor. Long enough to give him insight into human nature, his own nature, and how crazy people can be.  He founded two leadership training organizations that remain strong and relevant today: T-NET International in 1991 and  The Bonhoeffer Project in 2014. Yes, Bill is married with children and grandchildren. You can reach Bill at his email: bill@billhull.com.
